Illustrator is used to create logos, signs, floor plans, maps, fashion designs, and illustrations. Many use Illustrator to create marketing collateral too. Step by step, you will be working hands-on in this course. Illustrator has such a rich and robust feature set that we encourage students to tell us exactly how they want to use it. We will make sure you learn everything you need.
Illustrator has a lot of unique drawing features. We’ll focus on the basic ones here -- the ones you will use often. After this workshop you can start using Illustrator, with complete confidence, to create logos, illustrations, floorplans, posters, and banners. Students are encouraged to tell us of special requests. Prerequisite: Basic computer skills.
This course teaches you techniques that help you work faster and smarter. You’ll also work with advanced features that make it easier to create schematics, infographics, graphs, 3D comps, floor plans, or architectural elevations. Prerequisite: Illustrator 101 or equivalent experience.
This course is designed for advanced users who wish to use Illustrator for prepress and/or packaging production. The course material is customized to suit the needs of each person taking the class.
You can expect your instructor to be helpful and engaging. Your Adobe Illustrator training will be hands-on, right from the start, and your day lasts about 7 hours including breaks and lunch. You will get lots of practice with the basics so you can dive in to big projects confidently when you get back to the office. The content of your Adobe Illustrator training is structured so that you easily understand how the lessons are relevant to the work you perform.
You will work on practical exercises in your Illustrator course—learning new skills and professional techniques that you will use in your own real-world projects. You will meet attendees like yourself, like-minded people pursuing similar goals. You can expect lively Q&As. We hope you’ll ask all the questions you want. Please let us know before the event if you have any special requests or challenges.
